I need some right now. But I also don’t want to get addicted to it.

I get mine from the Fyxx every morning on Portage. Apparently there is a Starbucks opening about two blocks from my work soon too. Once that happens, I’ll then be forced to decide every morning if I want that or if I’m lazy and just get it from the Fyxx. Both places are good.

Oh decisions decisions. These are the kinds of things I have to figure out every morning.

Doing filming with an NHL player from Tampa today. Should be interesting. Some of those guys are good at it but others are awful. I suppose they are in the NHL because of skill not acting or charisma.

New toy!

I got an iPhone finally!!! I’m currently typing this from the tumblr app for it. I am in love with my iPhone, I’ll admit it. Ha ha.

Anywho, lots of drama happening right now with my extended family. It’s annoying. Otherwise everything is fantastic! Job is great. Moving out in a about a month and really pumped for that.

last day off before full time

I am sitting at my computer listening to new Pearl Jam (what I just posted a video for) and thinking about how far along things have come. I remembered sitting at our grad ceremony for DMT and feeling such a sense of accomplishment. I’m really pumped to see where things go from here.

I start full time at the MTS Centre on tuesday. Didn’t realize originally how much stuff I was actually going to have to do at this job, but it sounds really fun and I’m excited about it. Not only will I be creating motion graphics and videos for them, but also being there during all the Moose games and other events at the arena to control when everything plays. I get to sit up in the press boxes to do that at a fancy shmancy computer system.

I also have a pretty fully loaded computer to use at my desk for After Effects and editing. Then in the edit suite we have a Mac Pro with 8GB of ram. That made me almost pee a little when I saw it and used it. I’ll have my own business cards with my name and title on them along with the True North and Moose logos. Pretty exciting stuff.

My lovely girlfriend is gone for 5 days. She’s off on a plane as I type this on her way to Calgary and then another plane to Kamloops, BC. She’s going to visit her family with her Dad and sister. I miss her Auntie Cheryl and Uncle Shaun. They are great people and are so loving to Ashley and me. I wish I could be going out there with her. But I start my job on Tuesday and it was a family trip with her Dad that’s been planned for a long time. I should have just saved up some money before and bought my own plane tickets and whatnot. Oh well. We’ll just have to go out there on our own sometime soon.

Anywho, I’m off to play some videogames and enjoy my last weekday before I start my NEW JOB! w00t!
